1. Scope

This Policy applies to the Orange Mining Android application, orangeminingapp.com, account and support services, advertising and analytics integrations, purchases processed through supported app stores, reward accounting, and Bitcoin/Lightning withdrawal functionality when available.

Third-party products and services have their own privacy practices. Their privacy notices govern the data they process independently.

2. Personal data we may collect

2.1 Account and identity data

2.2 Device, network, and technical data

Orange Mining does not request precise GPS location as part of its core functionality unless a specific feature clearly discloses such collection and obtains any required permission. Third-party providers may infer approximate location from IP address or other technical information under their own policies.

2.3 App activity and reward data

2.4 Advertising and analytics data

2.5 Purchase data

Orange Mining does not receive or store your full payment-card number or card security code when a purchase is processed by Google Play.

2.6 Withdrawal and payment data

2.7 Communications

3. How we collect data

We collect data directly from you, automatically from the app and backend infrastructure, from app stores and advertising/analytics providers, and from payment or withdrawal providers when needed to complete or reconcile a transaction.

4. Why we use personal data

We may process personal data to:

5. Legal bases and consent

Depending on your location and the type of processing, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of our agreement with you, your consent, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention, service improvement, accounting, and protecting our rights.

Where consent is legally required for personalized advertising, analytics storage, local storage, cookies, advertising identifiers, or similar technologies, we request and transmit consent choices through an appropriate consent-management flow. You may be able to change those choices later from the privacy options made available in the app or device.

6. Advertising, mediation, and analytics

Orange Mining uses Google services such as Firebase, Google Analytics for Firebase, Google AdMob, and Google Play. We may also use advertising mediation partners enabled for the app, including providers such as Unity Ads and InMobi, and additional partners that may be enabled over time.

Advertising providers may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions, consent signals, and other technical information for ad delivery, fraud prevention, measurement, frequency control, and, where you consent and applicable law permits, personalized advertising.

For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Orange Mining intends to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the applicable IAB Transparency and Consent Framework requirements before requesting personalized advertising. The consent interface may identify additional ad-technology providers used for your region.

Useful provider privacy information:

We do not sell personal data for money. Some advertising-related disclosures may be defined as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under certain U.S. state privacy laws. Where such laws apply, we provide the choices required by applicable law and supported consent tools.

7. Purchases through Google Play

Digital products or features offered inside the Android application are processed through Google Play Billing where required. Google processes your payment method. Orange Mining receives transaction information needed to validate and fulfill the digital purchase, prevent duplicate fulfillment, handle refunds or reversals, and maintain accounting records.

8. Bitcoin and Lightning withdrawals

When withdrawal functionality is available, Orange Mining may use third-party Bitcoin or Lightning infrastructure providers to transmit an approved withdrawal to the destination supplied by you. A provider may receive the information technically necessary to execute, screen, reconcile, or support that payment.

We do not disclose your Orange Mining API credentials to users, and provider credentials used by Orange Mining are intended to remain on protected backend systems. Third-party payment providers may apply their own compliance, security, availability, and transaction rules.

9. Fraud prevention and account integrity

We may analyze account, device, network, advertising, purchase, and withdrawal signals to detect fraud or abuse. This can include indicators of repeated account creation, device or network manipulation, automated traffic, invalid advertising activity, purchase abuse, suspicious withdrawal behavior, or attempts to bypass Service limits.

We do not publish the detailed rules or thresholds of our anti-abuse systems because doing so could undermine their effectiveness.

10. How we disclose data

We may disclose personal data only as reasonably necessary to:

We do not disclose your personal data to advertisers so that they can directly contact you merely because you viewed an advertisement in Orange Mining.

11. International data transfers

Orange Mining is operated from Mexico, while some service providers process data in the United States and other countries. As a result, personal data may be transferred internationally. We take reasonable steps to use providers and contractual or technical safeguards appropriate to the processing and applicable law.

12. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Service, protecting account security, resolving disputes, complying with legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping obligations, and enforcing agreements.

When data is no longer required, we delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable requirements. Some records may be blocked or retained after account deletion where required or permitted by law, for example transaction, tax, accounting, anti-fraud, security, or dispute records. De-identified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained for analytics or service improvement.

13. Account and data deletion

You may request deletion of your Orange Mining account and associated personal data. A public deletion-request resource is available at orangeminingapp.com/delete-account.html.

We will delete data associated with your account unless specific information must be retained for a legitimate legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-related reason. Merely disabling an account is not treated as a substitute for deletion where deletion is required.

For security, we may need to verify that the person requesting deletion controls the relevant account. We will never ask you to provide your password by email.

14. Your privacy rights in Mexico

Under applicable Mexican data-protection law, you may have rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition (“ARCO”), as well as the ability to limit certain uses or disclosures of your personal data and, where applicable, withdraw consent.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy / ARCO Request.” Include enough information to identify the relevant Orange Mining account and describe your request. We may request reasonable identity verification before disclosing or modifying personal data.

15. Rights in other jurisdictions

Depending on where you live, applicable law may grant additional rights, such as access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or the right to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing. We will honor legally applicable requests and may verify identity before acting on them.

16. Cookies, local storage, and mobile identifiers

The website may use necessary cookies or similar technologies. The mobile app and its SDKs may use local storage, app-instance identifiers, advertising identifiers, and consent strings. Where legally required, non-essential processing is subject to the choices presented through the applicable consent experience.

17. Children

Orange Mining is not intended for children. The Service is designed for users who meet the eligibility and age requirements stated in our Terms of Service and applicable app-store rules. If we learn that personal data was collected from a person who is not legally eligible to use the Service, we may delete the account and associated data as required by law.

18. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including restricted backend access, authentication controls, server-side authorization, and protection of sensitive provider credentials. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

19. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Service, providers, technology, law, or our practices. We will post the updated version at this URL and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or requires renewed consent, we will provide additional notice or consent where legally required.
